What carries over

The land, not the setup

Each map keeps its original land shape on the same 35 × 24 grid. Dominex then deals the starting land to six players, as it does on every map, and you choose the difficulty and Starting land before round one.

Dominex doesn’t open Slay’s own map files. These maps were converted to Dominex’s text format and ship with the game, so there is nothing to download.
